In addition to rail transport, in the Exploris Group we focus on the development of the road transport section. We organize road transport as an international forwarding company – we rely on a proven database of subcontractors, with whom we usually have long-term contracts. This guarantees us reliability and safety in the selection of the carrier and customer service.

Road transport accounts for more than 85% of all land transport in Europe. Thus, a freight forwarding company specialising in the movement of goods must ensure that their customers can get their goods delivered by road. Lorries will arrive where the railway does not reach. Many of our customers are not able to pick up cargo from railway wagons, whether due to lack of appropriate infrastructure or size of cargo, which due to their specificity or quantity is not profitable to transport by rail.

Due to the need to handle the transport of Via Cargo’s own loads and to supplement the offer with the possibility of delivery or collection of goods from the railway siding to the customer’s door, in 2006 we established a road forwarding department.

Over the years, our team of forwarding agents grew, we won orders and contracts for an increasing number of shipments and we developed not only as a rail carrier, but also as a road forwarding company.

Our team of forwarding agents offers you professional road transport services, carried out with every type of rolling stock available on the market. We guarantee cargo safety, modern and professional customer service, fast order processing and competitive prices. We transport finished products, bulk goods – coke, coal, aggregates; liquids – fuels and chemicals and food products. Transports are carried out in domestic and foreign traffic.

Every year we handle several thousand cargoes and several hundred customers from many industries. Our main markets are Poland, Germany, Italy, France, Belgium and the Netherlands, but we also forward cargoes to other countries.

We work on the basis of the General Forwarding Conditions and a valid license to provide services in road haulage.
